This past week was amazing, from getting ready for the show to the performances by the students and to know how hard they have worked and how far they have come.
I love seeing the puzzled look on the audience faces at the end of each performance, not knowing what to believe first, not knowing what they just went through, then that look of pride.
I knew there would be a lot of emotion from the audience with how intense the play is and how powerful the kids performances are and for a lot of the people the play hit close to home.
As for the trip I'm excited and scared..I'm excited because this is a trip of a lifetime and for some, it's the first time leaving the island and scared because there are a lot of people believing in us and I don't want to let them down...but like Mr. Kitsu said this is a trip of a lifetime that only those of us going will truly know the experience. Just remember its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog...so let's go and show the world what we are made of.
