Test 2

Testing to Facebook

Linking Blog Page to NPAC Facebook Page

We have figured out how to link our NPAC Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011 Blog page to our NPAC Facebook page.  Thus, if you are a fan of our NPAC Facebook page, you should be getting any updates that are posted on this Blog page to the NPAC Facebook page.  This will make it easier for us to post and hit our followers on both sites.

If you want to be a fan of the NPAC Facebook page, here is the link:

Weekly Update, July 16, 2011

It is getting closer to our departure date . . . 2 weeks till we leave the islands for the UK . . . everyone is getting excited and the Under the Influence show is coming together.  Here are the highlights since last update:
  • The alumni staff took over directing duties for two weeks in June as Mr. Kitsu had to travel off island for personal and work reasons.
  • The NPAC finally made its way to the Kam Swap meet and sold many items; however there still was much left over and we donated it to Goodwill.
  • The NPAC worked with Planned Parenthood and Alu Like on a teen pregnancy prevention video.
  • The debut of Under the Influence will take place next week on Tuesday, July 19 at 7:30 pm at the Cupola Theatre in the Design Center on Kapiolani Blvd. and on July 22, 23 at 7:30 pm at the NHIS multi-purpose cafe.
We can't wait to share the show with our supporters.

Weekly Update, June 4, 2011

Sorry for the delay in posting this blog entry from Bailey Barnes . . .

This week with NPAC was awesome! Our week started last week friday with our performance at the Okinawa Center for Head Start. Our audience was amazing they greeted us in before our performance, we performed for them, they fed us, and cheered for us till we reached the door. It was so much fun.

Then we all came back together on Monday for our end of the year cast banquet at the Pacific Beach Hotel. It was so much fun! We had awesome food, took pictures with each other, we each got our certificates with our very own "nicknames" (I was named Ms. Mad Swag), then we had disco, and we all danced like there was no tomorrow. Tali also put together a video of the school year. The whole banquet was a blast.

On Tuesday we had to clean out Mr.'s room for our swap meet on Saturday. It was actually really fun. I'm not the cleaning type but this clean was really fun. We were looking through everything like the programs from the last 20 years of NPAC. Everything looks like it changed a lot, like costumes and props. Then we Came back on Wednsday to continue cleaning his room. We all planned to sleep over Friday night so we could get up early for Saturday. Friday came..... And it was storming, thunder and rain. So Mr. had to cancel the swap meet. I was really looking forward to it. But now we are prepared for the next time. But then the rain stopped and I wished we went to the swap meet more. But its okay. I just can't for next week with NPAC.
